Rubio Gándara is a Spanish company based in Madrid, established in the late 1940s.
During the first decades, the activity focused on intermediation in the markets of raw materials from Mediterranean food culture (oil, wine, etc.) developing an important knowledge of products and markets and an extensive network of relationships in the food industry.
Since the 1960s, the activity was oriented towards processed foods and beverages and the foundations were laid for the sourcing model for private labels and distributor brands that would take definitive shape in the following decades.
Starting in the 80s, the supply model for brands was consolidated, and we focused our work on sourcing programs and product development for importers brands, global brands and retail and food service distributor’s private labels.
In 1998, the Agroatlántica subsidiary was established, a company dedicated to serving customers in the expanding markets of Asia and Pacific.
Opening the second decade of the 21st century, we continue our specialized work in the private label product development and sourcing programs.
